About

My journey to being a WAHM was about 2 years in the making. Before I became a WAHM I was working as an Events and Communications Officer. It was an enjoyable job albeit stressful at times. I thought it was a job that i would do forever.

I had a rare opportunity to be present during my children's early years but I was missing out on their elementary school years. Though I tried hard to balance work and home it was difficult and I usually failed to put more of the balance towards home.

I started think about all that I was missing out on. Aside from activities I was missing out on quality time to talk and catch up on what was going on in their lives.

It started to creep up on me. That feeling of discontent. I felt the full impact when I was blessed with our youngest son. I started to lose focus on work and failed in some of my responsibilities.

I felt there was no perfect time than at that point to try working from home. It was now or never.

In a couple of months I was able to get a job and in a year's time I became a full fledged WAHM. It was a rocky road to getting where I am. The internet was my strongest ally. I read up on what I could and seeked out other WAHMs.

Now, I'd like to do my share and help other moms interested in becoming a WAHM. Stay tuned for more.
